Terms of Service

Agreement

By using the Nova mobile application (“Nova”, “the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Nova is operated by Perceptify Pty Ltd, registered in Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Nova Provides

Nova is an AI-powered Vedic wellness app: guided meditation, mantra practice with on-device feedback, Gita wisdom, and personalised daily guidance, with an AI guide you can talk to. Personalised insights draw on Jyotish birth charts generated from your birth details.

All content is for informational and self-guidance purposes only. It is not professional, medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. Nova is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Nova’s insights illuminate patterns and tendencies for awareness and self-reflection; they do not guarantee any specific life events or outcomes. Nova takes no responsibility for life decisions made based on its guidance. Nova is completely AI-driven: AI models can occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate responses. While we try our best to keep Nova as accurate and authentic as possible, mistakes can happen and outputs should not be trusted blindly.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Nova may offer premium features through subscriptions and credit packs, processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in the app, or by Stripe for purchases made on the web. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your device’s app store settings, or from your account page for web purchases. Refunds are subject to Apple or Google’s policies for store purchases; for web purchases, contact hello@novaguide.app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Nova for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service
• Interfere with the app’s infrastructure or other users
• Create charts using another person’s details without their consent

Intellectual Property

The Nova app, its design, and technology are owned by Perceptify Pty Ltd. Your personal data and chat content remain yours, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Nova is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perceptify Pty Ltd is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting hello@novaguide.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes should first be raised with us at hello@novaguide.app for informal resolution before any formal proceedings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nova after changes constitutes acceptance.
